Prayer Before A Meeting

For where two or three gather in my name, there am I among them [Mt. 18:20]. Heavenly Father, as we get ready to start our meeting, we remember your promise of presence when we gather in your name. We understand that without your presence among us and within each of our hearts, our efforts will be fruitless. All: Unite us Lord in your Spirit. We celebrate the blessing of being brought together to work in your name. May we respond wholeheartedly to this chance to serve you and deepen our commitment to our Christian vocation. All: Unite us Lord in your Spirit. Fill us with your Spirit of wisdom; let your vision take root in our hearts and minds. Grant us joy and humility as we collaborate with one another so we may enjoy the honor of contributing to the establishment of your Kingdom. All: Unite us Lord in your Spirit. We ask that our collective efforts strengthen the bond among us as members of your Body here on earth. May the fellowship we share inspire us with renewed courage in all that we undertake for you. All: Unite us Lord in your Spirit. Help us to be open to one another, to honor and listen to each other, to communicate honestly, and to support each other for the advancement of your Kingdom.
