Prayer Before A Meeting

Beloved Father in Heaven, You have faithfully honored your promise by sending us a Savior. You have fulfilled your word, and we are called to become the people You intended us to be. We need to remain mindful of our identity, for we are Your sacred people. We seek Your forgiveness for those moments when we forget who we are, when we fall short of our calling, and when we neglect to follow Your will. As we gather to collaborate in the education of Your youth, we ask that Your Holy Spirit be present among us. Guide our discussions, open our hearts and minds, and let us recognize You in one another and in the world we inhabit. Bestow upon us understanding and wisdom to share in our conversations. We pray for Your blessing upon all parents everywhere, and upon all those who assist them in their educational journey. Grant us the courage to pursue justice in ways that uplift all people. We belong to Your Church: in the past, in the present, and forever. By Your grace, we have been entrusted with the message of hope and love to share, and for this, we are grateful. May Your Holy Spirit guide our actions, so that we may fulfill Your will. We pray all of this through Your Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ.Amen.
