Prayer Before A Meeting

As we gather for this meeting, let us take a moment to express our gratitude to the Lord for the chance to come together, striving toward our mutual aim of enhancing our parish and serving our parishioners. Lead us, O Lord, that we may collaborate in a spirit of respect and open dialogue, not as isolated individuals, but as the united Catholic community we aspire to be. In our discussions this evening, let us keep in mind the purpose behind our efforts: our Parish and its members. Grant us the ability to work together effectively in fulfilling our responsibilities to our Parish and the wider parish family. We ask for your guidance and inspiration to enlighten our thoughts and decisions. Dear Lord, may this meeting be fruitful and yield success. Amen. We ask You to send Your Holy Spirit to be present among us in this meeting, enabling us to labor together for Your honor and glory, and for the salvation of all. Lord Jesus, we place our prayer before You, for You are our Lord forever and ever.
