Beloved St. Anne, I come before you to pay my respects through your statues and images. They serve as tangible symbols of the divine love's mysteries that were fulfilled in your life. When I behold your embrace of the infant Virgin Mary, it deepens my understanding of your vital role in the Redemption of humanity. You are the woman whom God the Father selected to nurture the Mother of His Only Begotten Son. This young Virgin in your arms will grow to become the Mother of God. In being her Mother, you also partake in her privileges. The wondrous mystery of the Immaculate Conception took place within you. When the time arrived, you brought forth Mary, preparing her for the extraordinary calling of being the Mother of God. Saint Anne, your holiness comes from your intimacy with God. You are the chosen one appointed to be the mother of the Mother of God. Dearest Saint Anne, intercede for me and for all humanity. Offer your special prayers and blessings for the sick and suffering, for the hungry and the needy. Please grant to all people the invaluable gift of love for one another in God and for peace.Amen.
