Prayer Before A School Board Meeting

Beloved and Merciful God, You are truly the source of every good gift, and we express our gratitude for your countless blessings today. We thank you for the successful results of our school activities and for every member of our staff, both educators and support personnel. We ask for your abundant blessings upon them, as we seek your wisdom, guidance, courage, and strength. Be present with us in our discussions and assist us in making thoughtful choices for the benefit of all who have entrusted their confidence to our leadership. Grant us the discernment to lead with honesty so that our decisions align with what is just and beneficial. Protect us from narrow-mindedness and trivial disputes. Help us to decide for the welfare of all, shielding us from selfish motives. Gracious Lord, instill in us the humility to continually seek your will in all our actions and words. All praise belongs to you, loving God, now and forever, through Christ and the Holy Spirit.Amen.
