Prayer Before Mass

Heavenly Father, I approach your holy altar to partake in the sacred sacrifice of your Son, Jesus. Focus my thoughts on you, and through His precious blood, cleanse me from all my sins as I sincerely repent for having wronged you. Help us to observe this holy mystery with unwavering faith and heartfelt devotion. Send forth the Holy Spirit of love to kindle our hearts, so we may receive the Holy Eucharist with reverence. Bless our family, our parish, and our community. We ask this through Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns forever and ever. Amen. Mary, Queen of heaven, intercede for us. Saint Bridget and Saint Vincent de Paul, pray for us. In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.Amen.
