Prayer Before Meditation, Study Or Spiritual Reading

O my God, I sincerely believe that You are truly present here, and I bow down in adoration alongside the angels and saints. I acknowledge my sins with sorrow, for You are infinitely good, and my transgressions offend You. I cherish You above all else and with all my heart. I present to You all that I am and all that I possess: my soul with its abilities, my body with its senses. Please illuminate my mind and ignite my will so that I may understand and fulfill what pleases You. I ask You to guide every power of my soul, every thought and feeling, toward Your service and glory, as well as for my own sanctification and salvation.
