Prayer Before Studying

Most blessed Lord, please bestow upon me the grace of Your Holy Spirit to empower me in my studies. May I grasp the material well, growing into a better person for Your glory, bringing comfort to my family and serving the Church and our Nation. Amen. Christ, the true light who illuminates and sanctifies every individual entering the world, may the brightness of Your presence shine on me (us) so that I (we) might behold Your inaccessibly brilliant light. Guide my (our) actions along the path of Your commandments, through the intercession of Your ever-virgin Mother and all the Saints.Amen.
