Prayer For A Deceased Person

Almighty Father, eternal God, we ask You to listen to our supplications for Your child (Name), whom You have summoned from this world to be with You. Bestow upon him/her light, joy, and tranquility. Allow him/her to safely transition through the gates of death and to dwell eternally among all Your saints in the radiant promise made to Abraham and to all his faithful descendants. Protect him/her from every danger, and on that glorious day of resurrection, elevate him/her alongside all Your holy ones. Forgive his/her transgressions and grant him/her everlasting life in Your divine realm. We make this request through Christ our Lord.Amen.
