Prayer For A Loving Attitude

Lord Jesus Christ, You laid down your life out of love for humanity, and you urged your disciples to be kind and do good works for others. Throughout the years, many of your followers have found this challenging, and I too struggle with it. I make an effort, yet it seems so difficult to maintain a loving heart toward everyone, and this leads me to feel insincere in my commitment to follow you. Please assist me, dear Lord, in truly understanding that love in the Christian sense is the greatest force in existence. Help me recognize that it transcends mere feelings; it is a fundamental disposition of one's entire being, a commitment to serving others in your name. It is born from your grace, enabling us to genuinely desire good for others, created in the image of God. Grant me the determination to embody this attitude, and faithfully live out the noble calling to which I aspire.Amen.
