(To Saint Eugene de Mazenod.) Heavenly Father, we express our gratitude for calling Saint Eugene de Mazenod to follow Christ, the Redeemer and Proclaimer of the Good News. Deeply in love with your Son Jesus and embracing his compassion for all people, Eugene devoted himself entirely to the Church's mission to evangelize those most in need. By his intercession, empower us to extend the healing embrace of Christ, who invites us to pursue holiness and engage in Mission. May we create communities that reflect your presence, and proclaim the Good News of salvation to every nation. For this purpose, we commit ourselves, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
