The prayer
Lord, listen to our petitions; in Your compassion, lead us to Your realm of tranquility and illuminate the spirit(s) of Your servant(s) [name the deceased persons], whom You have called from this life. May he/she/they be counted among the community of Your holy ones. We request this through Christ our Lord.Amen.
