O Lord, we present to You the struggles and threats faced by communities and nations, the cries of those who are imprisoned and held captive, the heartaches of those who mourn, the vulnerabilities of the displaced, the helplessness of the powerless, the exhaustion of those in despair, and the challenges of the elderly. O Lord, be near to each one of them.
