Prayer For All Things Necessary For Salvation

O my God, I place my faith in You; please strengthen it. My hopes rest entirely in You; secure them for me. I truly love You with all my heart; help me to grow in that love each day. I regret that I have offended You; increase my sorrow for my sins. I worship You as my very beginning, and I seek You as my ultimate goal. I thank You for being my ever-present benefactor; I call upon You as my supreme guardian. Grant, O my God, that I may be guided by Your wisdom, kept in check by Your justice, comforted by Your mercy, and defended by Your might. To You, I wish to dedicate all my thoughts, words, actions, and sufferings; may I focus solely on You, speak of You, direct all my actions to Your greater glory, and willingly accept everything You deem fit for me. Lord, I hope that in all things, Your will be fulfilled, for it is Your purpose and the way that You desire. I plead with You to illuminate my mind, ignite my heart, purify my body, and sanctify my soul. Grant me strength, O my God, to make amends for my wrongs, to resist my temptations, to manage my desires, and to cultivate the virtues that are fitting for my state in life. Fill my heart with heartfelt love for Your goodness, hatred for my faults, love for my neighbor, and a disdain for worldly things. Let me always remember to obey my superiors, be kind to my subordinates, loyal to my friends, and charitable to my foes. Help me to conquer sensuality through discipline, greed through generosity, anger with gentleness, and lukewarmness through fervent devotion. O my God, grant me wisdom in my endeavors, courage in peril, patience in suffering, and humility in success. May I be constantly vigilant in my prayers, moderate in my meals, diligent in my work, and resolute in my commitments. Let my conscience always remain upright and pure, my appearance modest, my conversations uplifting, and my behavior orderly. Assist me in my ongoing efforts to transcend human inclinations, respond to Your grace, adhere to Your commandments, and strive for my salvation. Reveal to me, O my God, the futility of this world, the magnificence of heaven, the brevity of time, and the eternity that lies ahead. Help me to prepare for death, fear Your judgment, escape hell, and ultimately attain heaven through Jesus Christ, my Lord.Amen.
