Prayer For Choosing A State Of Life

Eternal Lord, You have always had a purpose for my life and my journey. In baptism, You enveloped me in Your love and bestowed upon me the gift of Faith, guiding me toward a joyful eternity with You. You have abundantly poured out Your graces upon me and have been ever-present with Your mercy and forgiveness during my times of weakness. At this moment, I earnestly seek Your guiding light, that I may discern the path of life that aligns best with Your divine will. Whichever state that may be, grant me the grace to wholeheartedly accept it, loving Your holy will as devotedly as Your Blessed Mother did. I present myself to You now, placing my trust in Your infinite wisdom and love to lead me in my journey toward salvation and in assisting others to draw near to You, so that I may eventually rejoice in eternal union with You.
