Prayer For Expectant Mothers

O Blessed Saint Anne, who was given the remarkable honor of nurturing the one destined to be the Mother of our God, I turn to you, seeking your watchful care. I entrust myself and the child I bear into your hands. Many children owe their physical life and the grace of baptism to you, Glorious Mother of Mary. Therefore, I place all my trust in you. Help me to remember the necessary precautions I must follow so as to safeguard the health, virtues, and eternal salvation of the child that God has entrusted to me. Please grant me the same virtues you imparted to her who was to become the Mother of God, that I may nurture and cultivate them in my child’s heart. O Good Saint Anne, watch over me today and for all time. I am confident that you will not deny your aid to a mother who calls upon you with faith.Amen.
