Prayer For Expectant Mothers

Heavenly Father, through the Blessed Virgin Mary, You have honored motherhood by the miraculous birth of Your Son, Jesus Christ, and have presented St. Elizabeth Ann Seton as a shining example for wives and mothers. I humbly ask You for the grace to follow her path by embracing the child who will come to me as Your precious gift and an heir to eternal life. Please bless this upcoming journey with safety for both my child and myself. May the exemplary life of Mother Seton serve as a continual inspiration to all mothers. I will keep close to my heart the prayer she cherished: 'May the most high, the most just, and the most holy Will of God be praised, adored, and loved.'Amen.
