The prayer
Heavenly Father, we express our gratitude for the wonderful blessing you have given us; through your divine parenthood, we find joy. In this period of anticipation, we implore you to safeguard and foster the initial, wondrous movements of life within. May our child emerge safely into the brightness of this world and receive the grace of baptism. Holy Mother of God, we place our child in your compassionate embrace.Amen.
