Prayer For Life

Gracious God, in Your loving kindness, You have blessed us with the precious gift of life. I seek Your mercy and forgiveness for my own shortcomings and for the failures of all humanity in safeguarding and honoring this sacred gift bestowed upon us. I ask that by Your grace, I and all people may cherish, honor, and shield all forms of life — including the unborn, the abused, the neglected, the disabled, and the elderly. Empower those who are in positions to make choices regarding life so that they may act with wisdom, compassion, and bravery. In Your holy name, Father, the Source of all life, Son, the Redeemer of our existence, and Spirit, the Sanctifier of our being — I offer this prayer.Amen.
