With great hope, we approach you, anticipating the gifts you will bestow upon us. Pardon our transgressions against you, heal our wounds, and transform our hearts so that we may be united in you. Grant wisdom to those in leadership, guiding them to make choices that align with your will for life, peace, and safety. Safeguard the lives of every individual, our families, our states, and our nation. Keep us under your watchful care. Assist us in extending love even to those who oppose us, and shield us from hostility, from terror, from conflict, and from your rightful judgment.
