Prayer For Our Nation

Heavenly Father, Giver of all life, we commend the United States of America into Your gracious hands. You are the foundation upon which this nation stands. It is You alone who bestows our esteemed rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Reclaim this nation for Your honor and abide among Your people. Send forth Your Spirit to inspire our nation's leaders. Enlighten their hearts to recognize the profound value of every human life and the duties that accompany our freedom. Help Your people understand that true joy comes from seeking and fulfilling Your will. By the intercession of Mary Immaculate, our land's Patroness, grant us the strength to forsake the 'culture of death.' Lead us into a new age of life. We ask this through Christ our Lord.Amen.
