Prayer For Peace

Grant us peace in our day, O Lord, for there is no one else who defends us but You, our God. V. May peace dwell within your walls, R. And may there be abundance in your towers. Let us pray. Almighty God, from whom all holy aspirations, wise thoughts, and righteous actions arise; grant to your servants the peace that the world cannot offer, so that our hearts may seek to follow Your commandments. Also, may we, freed from the fear of those who oppose us, live our days under Your safeguard, in tranquility and calm. Through Christ our Lord.Amen.
