Prayer For Priests

Dear Jesus, I lift up in prayer Your devoted and zealous priests; those who struggle with faith and are lukewarm; the priests serving both locally and in faraway mission lands; those who face temptation; the isolated and sorrowful priests; the young ones beginning their journey; the dying priests; and the souls of Your priests in purgatory. Most importantly, I entrust to You the priests who are closest to my heart: the one who baptized me; those who have forgiven my sins; the priests at whose Masses I participated and who shared Your Body and Blood with me in Holy Communion; the priests who guided and taught me; and all the priests to whom I owe my gratitude in any way. O Jesus, hold them all close to Your heart and grant them abundant blessings in this life and in eternity.Amen.
