Prayer For Priests

Mother of our Savior, in this time dedicated to your honor, we joyfully proclaim you blessed. You believed in the Father's Word and embraced your role as His servant, allowing the Word to take on human form and dwell among us. We honor you as our Mother and the Mother of the Church. You must have lovingly watched over the early Church, nurturing the apostles as they took on the mission of Your Divine Son here on earth. May the Church always be a symbol and vehicle of deep communion with God. We lift up to you, our Mother, particularly our Bishop and the priests of our diocese. They share in the priesthood of Your Divine Son and serve as His ministers of Word and Sacrament. Intercede for them, asking Him to fill them with fervor and keep them faithful and joyful in their ministry, ever mindful of their role in bringing glory to the Father and honor to the Church. Holy Mother, inspire our youth to generously respond to the call of Jesus in the priesthood and religious life, thus increasing the number of our priests. Support all of us, O Virgin Mary, on our faith journey and grant us the grace of eternal salvation.
