O Blessed Lady of Sorrows, we commit and dedicate the priesthood to your Immaculate Heart! In this moment of trial and distress, we beseech you to renew the priesthood by sanctifying priests to reflect the Heart of the Good Shepherd. We offer our prayers in atonement for the transgressions within the priesthood and for all those who have suffered because of them. Bestow, O Lady of Sorrows, a rich outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon priests so they may faithfully embody your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Let us alleviate your sorrow by bringing comfort to your Immaculate Heart through the devotion of the rosary and by adoring the Heart of Jesus, your Son, present in the Most Holy Eucharist within every Catholic Church around the globe. Instill in all priests and seminarians a profound love and devotion for Jesus in the Eucharist and for you, their caring Mother. Inspire every priest and seminarian to dedicate an hour each day with Jesus in the Eucharist and to fervently pray your most holy rosary! Grant all priests and seminarians the gift of purity, the gift of chastity, and the gift of divine love from your Son. May they boldly proclaim the truth with love, courage, and without hesitation!
