Prayer For Priests

The prayer

1. Eucharistic Celebration Lord Jesus, present in the Eucharist, I worship and adore You, alongside my fellow believers across the globe, here in the sacramental celebration of Your Most Holy Body and Blood. We unite ourselves with You, offering it to the Father as a sacrifice of praise and gratitude. I express my thanks on behalf of all of us for granting us this profound sacrament, the heart and pinnacle of our spiritual journey. I am grateful for Your words: "Do this in remembrance of me," for choosing Your twelve apostles and another seventy-two disciples, and for continuing to call men generations later to carry on this Mystery in Your name, to preside over the Eucharist, to forgive our sins in the name of the Holy Trinity, to guide us spiritually, and to be the foundation of Your Church. I am thankful, Jesus Eucharist, for still calling men today to partake in Your priestly ministry, to join the presbytery, and to support our bishops, those who pray for their fellow priests, who distribute the sacraments, who proclaim the Good News, and teach Your word to nourish our spiritual growth. I offer my gratitude, Jesus Eucharist, for the many thousands of priests who assist their communities in various ways, as You demonstrated in the washing of the feet. 2. Eucharistic Exposition Lord Jesus in the Eucharist, with all my brothers and sisters, I profess my faith that You are truly present in the Host displayed before us, with Your glorious humanity and divinity. I praise You, honor You, and adore You. I thank You, out Paraclete seated at the Father’s side in heaven, who remains with us on earth in the tabernacles, in our homes, in our hearts, where we can pray to You continually, where You provide us with constant assistance. Thank You, Jesus Eucharist, for allowing us to bring You to the sick in hospitals, and to the elderly who struggle to move around. All praise, all honor, all glory are Yours, You, our Creator, Redeemer, and Sanctifier. 3. Intentions to Jesus Eucharist O Jesus, Eucharistic Lord, with countless brothers and sisters, in the communion of saints and angels, I lift up prayers for our priests, these men You have selected and called to serve Your Holy People. May the Holy Spirit, our Paraclete, always be their companion. May Your love continuously ignite their hearts. Fill their hearts and lives with an Unquenchable Fire for You, Jesus, and for Your Holy Gospel. Let Your presence be central to their thoughts and actions. Inspire them when they address us. Strengthen them in moments of weakness. Be their courage when they are weary and disheartened. Revive them during times of spiritual dryness. Illuminate their hearts in dark moments. Be their joy in triumphs. Be near to them when they feel isolated and forsaken. Guide them through challenging decisions. Be their only model and inspiration in all they do for Your Church. Support them in actions and words of boldness. Set them free when they face oppression. Protect them when they seek shelter. Remind them to express gratitude when they forget. Encourage sincerity in them when tempted to deceive. Forgive them when they err. Heal their wounds when they suffer. Calm their spirits when they are unsettled. Revive their fervor when they become complacent or indifferent. Cheer them up when they feel down. Renew and sanctify them, for they are in constant need of it. Raise them to new life when they depart. Reward them for their dedicated work on Your behalf. 4. Invocation to Mary Virgin Mary, mother of the Eternal High Priest, Jesus Christ, and Mother of the Church, with you, the saints and holy angels, we appeal to Jesus Eucharist for our priests, that He may tend to their needs, realize their aspirations for the Church, satisfy their desires for their brothers, and fulfill their daily needs in their ministry and spiritual lives. 5. Doxology Jesus Eucharist, through and with You we offer this prayer to the Almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit.Amen.
