Lord, hold them in your embrace of love! Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Good Shepherd, in you we gather to glorify our Almighty Father for his caring plan for the Church. We place into your hands, Mary, you who stood at the foot of the cross, the Church, the pope, the bishops, and all priests: lead them to Jesus in the Eucharist; support them in both their joys and their trials; fill their hearts with the mercy of Jesus. May the shepherds inspire the faithful: that through their example, others may feel the love of Jesus; and may they welcome many to vocations. Thus, all those who feel called to follow Jesus, may echo your words, Mary: "Let it be done to me according to your word." And may all give glory and praise to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.Amen.
