Shield the vulnerable among us — those battling sickness, enduring suffering, facing frailty, dealing with poverty, or in their advanced years, including the unborn. Holy Spirit, inspire the hearts of all engaged in the healing professions, so they may honor the dignity of every individual from their first moments until their natural end, remaining steadfast advocates for those entrusted to their care. Grant healthcare providers a renewed sense of purpose in their vocation, along with deeper understanding to care for the entire person, not just their ailments. Uphold the rights of medical practitioners to serve their patients without compromising their moral and spiritual beliefs.
