Prayer For The Chronically Ill

Gracious God, solid foundation for all who place their faith in You; consoler of every soul that seeks You. Listen to the pleas of those enduring unrelenting illness or frailty, and wrap them in Your tender embrace. Just as You have joined them to Christ's passion through the sacrament of baptism, accompany them along their journey through suffering, grant them tranquility, and empower them with a glimpse of Your everlasting kingdom. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ.Amen.
