The prayer
Gracious Lord, listen to our supplications; in Your compassion, lead us to Your realm of tranquility and illuminate the soul(s) of Your servant(s) [name the deceased persons], whom You have called from this life. Grant that he/she/they may share in the company of Your saints. We present this plea through Christ our Lord.Amen.
