Prayer For The Departed Loved Ones

O Almighty God, through the love You have for humanity, You chose to share in our nature, to engage in labor, to endure great suffering, and to ultimately face death upon the Cross. I humbly ask You, through the boundless merits earned by Your Precious Blood, to look kindly upon the trials faced by the holy souls in Purgatory. Please, O compassionate God, accept my prayers on their behalf and guide them to the splendor of Heaven. I commend to You the souls of my loved ones, including relatives, friends, and benefactors, especially those whom I may have led to sin through my poor example. Most Holy Virgin, Mother of Mercy, Comforter of the sorrowful, plead for these souls so that, through your powerful intercession, they may enter into the joy of the Kingdom prepared for them.
