The prayer
Almighty Father, your Son Jesus took on our humanity and was brought to the temple. May he cleanse our hearts of sin and lead us into your presence. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.Amen.
