Prayer For The Future

Lord, open our hearts to welcome Your Holy Spirit. Guide us to eagerly anticipate His arrival, as You did with Mary at the Annunciation, and again at Pentecost, which marked the Church's birth when she became our Mother. Reveal to the younger generation that Your Son, Jesus Christ, is eternally and uniquely the Savior of the world. Empower us to proclaim boldly and clearly that He is 'the way, the truth, and the life.' The path leading us to our ultimate purpose. The truth that sheds light on our journey through life's shadows. The life that fills us with deep peace. May Your disciples, as we stand on the threshold of the third millennium, hasten to fulfill Your call to be 'one' in unity with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Let us approach the Lord together, shining with His light, free from heavy hearts, so that all may see and recognize Jesus Christ living within His followers.Amen.
