Prayer For The Poor

intercession
The prayer

Who do I see Jesus as? Jesus is the Word incarnate. Jesus is the Bread that sustains life. Jesus is the Lamb sacrificed for our sins upon the Cross. Jesus is the offering presented at the Holy Mass for the sins of the world and for my own. Jesus is the Word to be shared. Jesus is the Truth that must be proclaimed. Jesus is the Path that we are to follow. Jesus is the Light to be ignited. Jesus is the Life that we are to cherish. Jesus is the Joy intended to be spread. Jesus is the Sacrifice that we are called to offer. Jesus is the Bread of Life that we are to consume. Jesus is the Hungry whom we must feed. Jesus is the Thirsty who needs to be quenched. Jesus is the Naked who should be clothed. Jesus is the Homeless who needs shelter. Jesus is the Sick who should be healed. Jesus is the Lonely who deserves love. Jesus is the Unwanted who needs acceptance. Jesus is the Leper whom we should care for. Jesus is the Beggar deserving of kindness. Jesus is the Drunkard needing a listening ear. Jesus is the Little One who needs our embrace. Jesus is the Mute who should be spoken to. Jesus is the Crippled needing companionship. Jesus is the Drug Addict who requires friendship. Jesus is the Prostitute who needs our protection and companionship. Jesus is the Prisoner who should be reached out to. Jesus is the Elderly who must be honored and served. To me, Jesus is my God, To me, Jesus is my Spouse, To me, Jesus is my Life, To me, Jesus is my sole Love, To me, Jesus is my Everything, To me, Jesus is my All in All.Amen.
