Prayer For The Pope

May the Lord safeguard our Holy Father Pope (insert his name here), grant him life, bless him abundantly on this earth, and protect him from the schemes of his adversaries. LET US PRAY: O God, the Shepherd and Guide of all believers, look in mercy upon Thy servant, (insert his name here), whom Thou hast chosen to lead Thy Church, and we beseech Thee to grant that, by both his teachings and actions, he may inspire those entrusted to him; so that, along with his flock, he may attain eternal life.
