The prayer
O God, the Creator and Savior of all who believe, we beseech you to grant forgiveness to the souls of our dearly departed. Through our heartfelt prayers, may they find release from their offenses and attain the happiness of Heaven that they have longed for. We make this request through our Lord Christ.
