Prayer For The Third Week Of Lent

This time of penance has opened for us the doors of heaven. Let us embrace it with prayer, asking that on the day of resurrection we may be exalted in the Lord. In every situation, let us serve as God's ministers, with great patience. Leader: Hail, O Cross! You are sanctified by the body of Christ; Family: his members adorn you like precious gems. Leader: Let us pray. Almighty Lord, please receive our humble prayers and extend your mighty hand to protect us. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son. Family: Amen. Bless this home, Lord, with your presence. Keep away all the schemes of the enemy. Let your holy angels dwell here, safeguarding our peace. And may your blessing always be upon us.
