The prayer
O Lord, gaze upon your people, and enable our spirits, disciplined by self-denial, to burn with a yearning for you in your presence. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever.Amen.
