Prayer For The Unborn Child

O Almighty God, our Father, you who have bestowed upon us the gift of life and desire for us to embrace it eternally, we ask for your blessings. Illuminate our hearts with a deep awareness and reaffirmation that every human life is sacred, as it reflects your image and likeness. Assist us in teaching through both our words and the examples we set that life holds the utmost importance, for it is a precious gift from you, whose love knows no bounds. Grant us the strength to uphold human life against any force or action that may threaten or diminish it, and empower us to make every life more humane in every facet. Bestow upon us grace... When the sacredness of life prior to birth is under attack, may we courageously affirm that no one possesses the authority to end the life of the unborn. When a child is viewed as a burden or merely a means to fulfill emotional desires, may we stand firm in asserting that every child is a gift from God, unique and irreplaceable, deserving of a loving and united family. When the sanctity of marriage is subjected to selfishness or treated as a temporary arrangement, may we rise to uphold the permanence of the marriage bond. When the family unit faces threats from social and economic pressures, may we assert that families are essential not just for personal well-being, but also for the collective good of every society, nation, and state. When freedom is wielded to oppress the vulnerable, to waste resources, or to deny basic human necessities, may we stand up for justice and the call to social love. Almighty Father, grant us the fortitude to proclaim the utmost dignity of all human life and to insist that society provides its protection. We ask this in your name, through the redemptive work of your Son and in the Holy Spirit.Amen.
