The prayer
O God of all kindness, look upon those who are waiting with love for the safe return of their dear ones serving in the military. In our hope and faith, we seek your consolation. Help us to place our trust in your compassion and send an angel to support us as we anticipate their safe homecoming. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
