Prayer For Those Who Mourn.

Compassionate Father and source of all comfort, You reach out to us with unwavering love and scatter the darkness of death with the radiant light of dawn. Console Your family in their grief and anguish. Be our refuge and strength, dear Lord, and raise us from the depths of sorrow into the peace and brightness of Your presence. Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, has conquered death through His own death and, by His resurrection, restored our life. Help us to move forward towards Him, so that when our earthly journey is complete, He may bring us back together with those we cherish, when all tears shall be dried away. We ask this in the name of Christ our Lord.Amen.
