Prayer For Those Who Mourn

O Father of all kindness and God who brings comfort, you love us without end and change the darkness of death into the promise of life. Please gaze upon our sorrow; be our sanctuary and solace, that our grief may be transformed into the light and serenity found in Your Presence. In His death, Your Son vanquished death; in His resurrection, He restored life. We ask that at the conclusion of our earthly journey, we may be united with Him and our loved ones. There, You will dry every tear from our eyes. We pray this through Christ our Lord.Amen.
