Prayer For Vocations

O God, You sent Your Son, Jesus, to offer eternal life to all who believe in Him. I unite my prayer with His, asking for workers for Your harvest. May Your Holy Spirit encourage both men and women to carry on His mission through the priesthood, diaconate, religious life, and lay ministry. Let this same Spirit reveal Your purpose for my own life. For Vocations Lord Jesus Christ, Savior of the world, we humbly request that You rekindle in Your Church the spirit that You generously granted to the Apostles. We pray that You call many to the priesthood and religious life. May a fervent love for Your glory and the salvation of souls ignite those You have chosen, making them saints in Your image, and may Your Spirit empower them. O Jesus, grant us priests and religious in accordance with Your Heart!
