Prayer For Vocations

Holy and loving Father, you oversee the vineyard and its harvest, giving every worker their due reward. In your loving plan, you invite men and women to partner with you in the mission of salvation for the world. We express our gratitude for Jesus Christ, your living Word, who has delivered us from sin and accompanies us in our need. Guide your flock, which you have promised the Kingdom, and send forth new laborers into your harvest. In the hearts of pastors, instill a commitment to your saving purpose, audacity in their calling, and a life of holiness. Lord Jesus, you who called the apostles by the Sea of Galilee and established them as the foundation of your Church and ambassadors of your Gospel, grant support to your people in their pilgrimage today. Give strength to those you summon to follow you in the priestly and consecrated life, that they may enrich God's field with the wisdom of your Word. Make them willing instruments of your love through their daily service to their brothers and sisters. Spirit of Holiness, you who grace all believers, and especially those called to be Christ's servants, lead young people to uncover the beauty of your divine call. Guide them in the authentic practice of prayer, nourished by the Word of God. Enable them to discern the signs of the times, so they can faithfully interpret your Gospel and be bearers of salvation. Mary, Virgin who listened to the Word and bore Him in your womb, assist us in being receptive to the Lord's Word, that, when embraced and contemplated, it may flourish within us. Help us to embody, like you, the attitudes of the faithful and dedicate ourselves with unceasing love to evangelizing all who seek your Son. Grant us the grace to serve every individual, becoming stewards of the Word we have received, so that in our fidelity to it, we may find joy in living it.Amen.
