Prayer For Vocations

Hail, Mary, full of grace; all generations call you blessed. Hail, Mother of God; when the angel requested that you bear the Son of the Most High, your heart was filled with faith, and you replied, “Let it be done unto me according to your word.” Holy Mother of Jesus, at the wedding feast in Cana, you encouraged your Son to perform His first miracle. Be alongside us as we seek to understand our calling and guide us in the path we are meant to take, following the footsteps of your Son. Holy Mother of the Savior, as you stood at the foot of the cross mourning for your only Son, please bless and embrace all the loving parents of priests, deacons, brothers, and sisters. Holy Mother of the Good Shepherd, turn your maternal care towards our diocese. Intercede for us with the Lord of the harvest, asking Him to send forth more laborers into His harvest. Queen of Peace, Mirror of Justice, Health of the Sick, inspire new vocations to the priesthood in our present time. Let the message of your Son come to life again in those eager to share the Good News of eternal life. Draw them close to the heart of your Son, so they may grasp the beauty and joy that await them when the Lord Jesus calls them to be His witnesses.Amen.
