Prayer In Appreciation Of The Mass

O Lord Jesus, In your wisdom, you ordained that the fruits of your sacrifice on the Cross would extend to every soul across the ages, renewing that sacrifice upon the altar. At the Last Supper, you instructed us: "Do this in remembrance of me." Through these words, you entrusted your apostles and their successors with the authority to consecrate and tasked them with the command to replicate your actions. I hold as true that the Mass serves both as a sacrifice and a memorial, echoing your passion, death, and resurrection. Guide me to understand that the Mass represents the ultimate gift from God to us, and likewise, our highest offering to God.Amen.
