Prayer In Honour Of Christ's Passion

I offer praise to You, O Christ, for You, the Only Son, the Sovereign of all, bore the death on the Cross to liberate my sinful soul from the chains of wrongdoing. What can I offer You, O Lord, in gratitude for such generosity? To You be glory, O Lord, for Your boundless love, for Your compassion, for Your steadfastness. Glory to You for pardoning all our offenses, for coming to rescue our souls, for taking flesh in the womb of the Virgin. Glory to You, for Your shackles, for the scourging You endured, for the derision You accepted. Glory to You, for Your crucifixion, for Your burial, for Your triumph over death. Glory to You, for Your resurrection, for being proclaimed among the nations, for Your ascension to the heavens. Glory to You who reigns at the right hand of the Father and will return in majesty. Glory to You for desiring the salvation of sinners through Your immense mercy and love.Amen.
