O Jesus! Name of utmost reverence! Sweet and delightful Name! Name that brings consolation! For what greater meaning does Jesus hold than that of Saviour? Therefore, Lord Jesus, in the honor of Your precious Name, be my Saviour and redeem me. Do not allow me to face eternal loss, good Jesus! Let not my sins bring me to ruin, for I am a creation of Your generosity. O sweet Jesus! Recognize that which belongs to You within me, and remove all that is not Yours. O sweet Jesus! In this time of grace, extend Your mercy, and do not judge me harshly on the day of justice. What gain is there for Your Precious Blood, or what glory can come from my ruin for Your Holy Name, O Jesus! "The dead shall not give You praise, O Lord Jesus! Nor those who descend into the abyss."
