Prayer In Honour Of The Sorrows Of The Blessed Virgin Mary

O most holy and sorrowful Virgin, Queen of Martyrs, you witnessed your Son's suffering beneath the cross. With a mother's love and compassion, gaze upon me as I kneel before you. I honor your sorrows and place before you my petitions, trusting in your maternal heart. Please take them to Jesus Christ, remembering His sacred passion and death, as well as your own suffering at the cross. By the strength of both, help me receive what I ask. Who else can I turn to in times of need and distress but you, Mother of Mercy? You have tasted the depths of your Son's pain and understand our own grief. Holy Mother, your heart was pierced with sorrow as you beheld the passion of your Divine Son. Please intercede for me and ask the Lord for my specific intention here.... May this be for His glory and honor, and for my benefit.Amen.
