Dearest Jesus, immersed in sorrow during your agony in the garden, drenched in blood as you prayed, have compassion on us, O Lord. Dearest Jesus, surrendered into the hands of the wicked through a kiss, bound like a criminal, and forsaken by your own followers, have compassion on us, O Lord. Dearest Jesus, unjustly condemned to death by a corrupt Council, brought before Pilate as a wrongdoer, and mocked by the evil Herod, have compassion on us, O Lord. Dearest Jesus, exposed in front of all, and severely whipped at the pillar, have compassion on us, O Lord. Dearest Jesus, crowned with prickly thorns, beaten and blindfolded, draped in a rich robe and ridiculed, have compassion on us, O Lord. Dearest Jesus, compared to the notorious Barabbas, rejected by those you came to save, and wrongly sentenced to die, have compassion on us, O Lord. Dearest Jesus, laden with the burden of the Cross and led to your execution like a gentle lamb, have compassion on us, O Lord. Dearest Jesus, numbered among the wicked, blasphemed and mocked, and offered gall to dull your pain, have compassion on us, O Lord. Dearest Jesus, crucified in the sight of Mary, pierced by a lance that poured forth blood and water from your side, have compassion on us, O Lord. Dearest Jesus, taken down and laid in the embrace of your grieving Mother, have compassion on us, O Lord. Dearest Jesus, severely beaten and marked by five wounds, anointed for burial and laid in a tomb, have compassion on us, O Lord. My Jesus, I express my gratitude for your sacrificial death on the Cross for my sins. Have compassion on us, O Lord.Amen.
